Bought two vehicles from Ashtons now. Both times I have been really impressed. Not just by the lovely premises and the stock, but by the easy going staff. They are polite, respectful and friendly. Even the chap who does the valeting is only too happy to stop what he's doing and take an interest in customer care. I have dealt with Rob both times now and he is a total professional. Previously, when a sensor failed, they fixed the issue with absolutely no quibbles. Coming to collect my vehicle from work, and then dropping it back to me. Their premium warranty is gold. If you find a car that you like at their forecourt, just do it. You won't regret it.
I have, in the past, had unfavourable views of car dealers but not this one! I bought a 62 registration Jaguar XJ from them but, at the time of purchase, there was a slight noise coming from the engine. Oliver, the guy who sold it to me, offered to arrange to have it fixed in my home town. Three visits to the local independent Jaguar garage and the problem seems now to be fixed. In between getting that fixed the alternator died and the replacement was also paid for by Ashtons. All in all I think Ashtons have spent around 1800 in fixing this car and all done with a smile - how can you find a better dealer than that? Thank you Oliver and the team down there in Devon.

Fantastic after sales. I bought a 5 year old Range Rover from Ollie I then reported a suspension knock and vibration under braking both of which were not covered under the warranty plan. I mailed Ollie who came straight back to me and offered a solution we were both happy with. This is what great customer service is when you look after customers when they have purchased not only during a sale. Thanks to all I will definitely buy my next car from them even though it was a 300 mile round trip.
I part exchanged my Range Rover for this wonderful Mercedes CLS250. I found the car to at very fair price, as I usually by privately. Rob was very knowledgeable and straight forward. As I was a few hours away he took the trouble to send me 4 'wahtapp' videos showing the entire car. I described my Range Rover & we had the workings of a deal on the phone. I decided to put a portion on finance, Rob was able to knock the APR down a little. Once there we ironed out the details and I'm now the owner of a great car. I would highly recommend this garage, all the cars seemed be of a very high standard. I will be returning to them for my next one!
