This is mainly an interesting shop. It was fun to watch the geezer make glass things but we were hoping to see marbles being made. The marble runs are pretty cool and the marble museum but the food although good is expensive for a family to eat. We are glad we went and would visit again if in Newton abbott but wouldn't make a special trip.

Fun place to go. You can see lots of things like glass making and there is lots of marble machines and the history of marbles. There is also a shop which has lots of items in it that you can enjoy. It is wheelchair accessible however there is an upstairs which you cant access and some tight turns which could be impossible if you aren't good at controlling the chair. It is also fun for children.

We went to see Santa today with the kids and we weren't disappointed! On arrival to actually seeing Santa was about 3 hours (we shouldn't have waited until a weekend just before Christmas!) but they do a ticket system so we went off for lunch and came back later...... The pathway to Santa was short but well decorated and the 'elf' showing my daughter through was very entertaining, and the Santa was lovely! He asked my daughter loads of questions and seemed really friendly and relaxed, no way would I think they'd seen nearly 200 other groups so far today! He's probably one of the best we've ever seen. We'll definitely do the same again next year, the present was lovely too.

A fantastic craft store! The marble runs are highly entertaining for children and adults alike. There is a wide range of fantastic local products made by both local craftsmen, and by the in house glass-blowing professionals whom you can observe as they work their magic. There is a lovely cafe serving both teatime fare, and main meals if you get peckish. You can expect to spend at least 1-2 hours here with young children. Prices vary, with a small bag of glass marbles being a few pound, handmade glass figurines between 25-70, and the larger glass pieces being 120 upwards. Overall a fantastic place to visit.

Disabled and dog friendly, however shop space upstairs is not disabled friendly as there's only steps to it. Cafe conservatory is dog friendly & food, especially cream teas are lovely and well priced. No entry fee. Fascinating history and marble displays. Glass blowers on site are great to watch, you can even book a lesson with them (but must book in advance) and glass they've made isn't expensive and is very beautiful. Some fun things in the garden great for kids. Gift shop sells everything, lots of glass marbles and many local products, great place to buy presents. Lots of parking, but only a couple of disabled bays.
